- The fictional superhero 'Black Panther' was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, which first appeared in Fantastic Four #52 in July 1966 in a comic book published by Marvel Comics.
- In June 1992, a film about the character was announced with intention to make it, after the process of making and hiring and date push backs, the film was finally released in 2018.
- They broke records for the highest opening weekend in the USA, and also performed well globally. The film has grossed well over $1 billion worldwide, with 48% in non-US countries.

- Marvel Studios owns the film 'Black Panther' and Marvel Studios is owned by Walt Disney Company, since 2008.

- The director of 'Black Panther' was Ryan Coogler (an American film director, producer and screenwriter, he has won top audience and grand jury awards in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival).
- The main protagonist of Black Panther was Chadwick Boseman (an American actor, best known for playing real-life historical figures and superheroes).
- The antagonist of Black Panther was Michael B. Jordan (an American actor, best known for playing in other well-known films) who played Erik Killmonger.
